Job Overview:

The Sales and Marketing Manager at ITME Center will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive business growth for our Multipurpose Convention Center. This role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in venue sales, marketing, and event promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy:
    1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
    2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and client relationships.
    3. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and lead generation.
  2. Marketing Campaigns:
    1. Plan and execute effective marketing campaigns to promote venue rentals and internal events, conferences.
    2. Utilize digital marketing channels, social media, and traditional methods to reach target audiences.
    3. Analyse market trends and competitor activities to refine marketing strategies.
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    1. Cultivate strong relationships with clients, event planners, and industry professionals.
    2. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
    3. Collaborate with clients to customize packages and offerings to meet their specific event needs.
  4. Event Coordination:
    1. Work closely with internal teams to coordinate event logistics and ensure seamless execution.
    2. Collaborate with event planners to understand their requirements and deliver exceptional event experiences.
    3. Attend industry events and trade shows to network and showcase the ITME Centre’s capabilities.
  5. Qualifications and Skills:
    1. Experience of 3 to 4 years in Convention Venue Sales & Marketing.
    2. Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
    3. Proven experience in sales and marketing roles, preferably in the events or hospitality industry.
    4. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    5. Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.
    6. Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    7. Familiarity with CRM software and digital marketing tools.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage day-to-day correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls
  2. Schedule appointments and meetings.
  3. Maintain accurate records and files.
  4. Prepare reports and presentations
  5. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree with secretarial training
  2. At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
