India ITME Society is a registration partner of events, exhibitions and conferences services in the areas of Software development, Designing, IT Consultancy, Event Planning & Coordination, Online and On ground execution.

India ITME Society regards protection of the privacy of its users’ personal data as a matter of the utmost importance.

This privacy statement therefore explains how such data is collected, stored and used when its website or Mobile application is used. India ITME Society collects and uses personal data both on the https://www.india-itme.com website (including any sub domains) (the “Website”) and in the Smartphone application (the “App”, referred to together with the Website as the “Services”).

  1. Collection, storage and use of personal data when the Website is accessed
    A record is made every time the Website and App or any file stored on the Website or App is accessed. Storage is for internal system and statistical purposes. The following, among other things, are recorded
    • IP address
    • name of the file accessed
    • date and time of access
    • amount of data transferred
    • notice of successful access
    • host name
    • web browser
    • device ID

    Further personal data is only collected if the user of the Website or App voluntarily provides information, for example when making a request or registering or to enter into a contract or via his browser settings.

    The Website uses a cookie. A cookie is a text file sent out when the user visits an internet page and cached on the website user’s hard disk. If the user of the website accesses the relevant website server again his browser sends the cookie previously received back to the server.

  2. Collection, storage and use of data entered by the user
    Registration of a user account by the user is a condition of using the App. Personal information is requested and stored during registration, for example
    • first name and last name
    • place of residence
    • name and address of employer
    • designation
    • company
    • telephone number, and
    • email address
    • other personal details

    Registration by the user constitutes acceptance of this privacy statement.

    The provision of personal data is voluntary. Each user decides himself what information to enter and then send to India ITME Society. However, failure to enter the relevant data may lead to a user not being able to use or get the full benefit of India ITME Society’s services. The User does not have a right to use the Services.


  3. Use and disclosure of personal data

    Where a user of the Website or App has made personal data available, India ITME Society will use this exclusively to manage contracts entered into with the user and for technical administration, including troubleshooting and advice by means of a hotline during and shortly after an event. India ITME Society will only pass personal data on to third parties or otherwise transmit it if this is required for the purpose of managing contracts or settlement or the user has given his prior consent. Users of the Website and App have the right to withdraw a consent previously given at any time with effect for the future.

    India ITME Society is entitled to instruct businesses and individuals that have been carefully selected within the meaning of the Federal Data Protection Act to take over and carry out tasks on behalf of India ITME Society in connection with the purpose set out in this privacy statement. This includes, for example, internet service providers, server operators, businesses that process payments and other supporting businesses or individuals. Such businesses can be given access to the personal data needed to carry out their activities. Such businesses and individuals are not permitted to use it in other ways.


  4. Right to information

    On written request India ITME Society will inform the user of the Website or App about the data stored about him. The request should be made by email to admin@india-itme.com whereby the email must be sent from the email address with which the user originally registered.


  5. Withdrawal and deletion

    The personal data stored is deleted if the user withdraws his consent to storage, if it is no longer needed in connection with the purpose for which it was stored or if storage is no longer permitted on other legal grounds. Data required for settlement or accounting purposes is not affected by a request for deletion. Consent to the storage of personal data may be withdrawn in writing by email to admin@india-itme.com; the email must be sent from the address originally given by the user when he registered. India ITME Society reserves the right to check the identity of the user in order to protect his privacy and security. In the case of a withdrawal India ITME Society will delete the user’s data immediately and irretrievably. If the user wishes to start using the services again he must register again.


  6. Data security

    India ITME Society protects the security of personal data in accordance with the relevant data protection laws. However, the user is reminded that any electronic communication is vulnerable to attack and is not completely secure. There remains a risk that third parties will obtain illegal access to the data which the user voluntarily sends to India ITME Society for storage and use. In such cases India ITME Society shall have no liability for loss or misuse of personal data unless this is caused by the intentional or grossly negligent actions of India ITME Society, its staff or statutory representatives.


  7. Changes to this privacy statement
