Another special opportunity is also created for textile students to attend a lecture by expert faculty on the topic of “Digitization and sustinability – two drivers for the textile industry” which will be conducted on 20th of December 2019 at Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai. This session will be presented by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Yves – Simon Gloy of RWTH Aachan Institute of Textile Technology, Germany who is also an Executive Scientific Director for Saxon Textile Research Institute (STFI) and an Adjunct Professor at Clemson University – South Carolina, USA. This session is a must attend for students and faculty from Textile & Textile Engineering universities as it shall provide the opportunity to learn the latest knowledge being pursued in western universities on the subject. India ITME Society acknowledges the importance of industry associations in supporting trade and investment for its members not only domestically, but also globally. To encourage dialogue between industry associations, to develop better business connects between countries and to expand customer connect & market access globally through associations, a special interactive session on “strengthening bilateral trade relation with neighbouring countries” is being organized for industry members, associations and officials on 20th of December 2019 at Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai.

This session will be addressed by H.E – Ms. Dorothy Tembo, Deputy Executive Director, International Trade Centre, UN, who shall be in India for the first time, to encourage Indo – Africa bilateral trade relations. This special & unique session shall also provide an opportunity for participants to interact with industry associations from Botswana, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Turkey, Ghana, Switzerland and India.
